Always a Wonderful Surprise

I'm so dedicated to entertaining people with my words of fiction that I often forget about other books I've released in hopes of bringing people to their happy places in life.

I've been pleasantly surprised this week to learn that one of my top selling books is actually a double gratitude journal!

I designed these journals to allow people to share their gratitude, year round, with someone in their life that is important to them, or someone who needs to know that there is another person in this world who cares about them and what they do. We all affect one another in ways unknown to us.

Imagine, that person sitting next to you right now is in need of a little reassurance from you. This is a good way to provide it.

Imagine, leaving your children something they can look back on, something that reminds them in your own words and handwriting, just how grateful you were for them being a part of your life.

Imagine, your spouse, that person you sit across from every day, that person who may be feeling a little lost or taken for granted, opening your gift of gratitude and reading the 365 ways you are grateful that they are in your life.

I absolutely get it. I'm excited that in times like today, with warring and propaganda, and hate all over the media, that people are grasping the need to detach from it all and show someone else just how grateful they are to be here with them in spite of what's happening all around us. I love spreading happy!

I'm excited that I created something that is going to have such a major impact on two lives: one while writing it, the other in receiving it. What a wonderfully, amazing thought. It fills my heart with gratitude.

Now, care to see which of my gratitude journals is my best selling book right now? No wonder. Who could refuse that face?

That trouble making Bobby Jay is back!

This Cute Little Guy...

Being so inspired by life and heart, I love to inspire others, too. So many people drift through life not realizing just how special they are and not seeing their own gifts.

We're all here for a reason; we all have a part in this larger community around us, in the oneness where we live. Children need to know this and learn what their gifts are so they can explore the world through their own special ways. As an author of children's book, I like to guide children to this knowledge. Books should be fun and emotional, sure, but within that fun emotional rollercoaster, I love to show children that they are here to be just who they are and that their unique talents can bring joy to everyone.

Yelf is just this sort of little guy. He's cute; he's cuddly; he's warm. But he just doesn't compare to the other Yetis in the village who all have talents that show their love of their village. So, what good is a useless Yeti?

Unlike many of my stories, this one is not written in rhyme. It's currently being prepared for release on November 27, which is special not only because it's a holiday, but because it was also my mom's birthday. And, since Yelf's mom plays a huge role in his self discovery journey, this book is dedicated to my mom, who did the same for me.

Inspire Me Daily

Welcome to my new blog, Inspire Me Daily.

Often, the littlest events inspire me to write. One such event happened recently and from that little event--we are remodeling--a picture book was born. When I sent a digital copy to the instigator behind the event, she laughed and laughed. Now, that laughter, that inspiring event, will be available for purchase November 1, 2025.

The only faces in this book that are identical to the participants are the two cats. The rest are fictional, yet not.
